Epidural steroid injections (ESIs) are a common procedure used to alleviate pain related to spinal conditions, particularly those impacting the lower back and legs. The injection involves introducing a corticosteroid medication into the epidural space, which is the area surrounding the spinal cord and nerve roots. This space is filled with fat and blood vessels, which can help deliver the medication effectively to inflamed areas.

Shoulder replacements performed at WWOS include, Anatomic total shoulder replacement., and Reverse total shoulder replacement. Both the ball and the socket are replaced, but the implants are reversed. The ball is attached to the shoulder blade and the socket is attached to the upper arm bone. This option typically is preferred if the rotator cuff is severely damaged.
